Part E:
The authorities are doing their very best to solve this problem. Some of the efforts are putting up fines.People do not want to waste money on unnecessary things like fines. So, they do not litter in order to prevent from getting fined. This is very effective as it reduces the amount of pollution. The URA should conduct water activities so that people could understand the water condition and care about the water, preventing water pollution from happening.

Part D:
The Jurong redevelopment plan that the Government planned will pollute the water at Jurong Lake park, causing the organisms in the pond to die due to the lack of oxygen. The fishes will also die due to the poor quality of the pond water and they will mistake floating objects as food and choke to death. The floating objects at the Jurong Lake Park will cause fully-submerged plants to die due to the lack of sunlight and the plants will not be able to photosynthesis.
Part C:
Leaf Litter
Some of the species in the leaf litter are violet ground beetles, millipedes, termites, wolf spider, ants and flies.

Part A:
Reflections of the group:
We went to Jurong Lake Park and we saw many different kinds of interesting organisms like frogs and spiders. We also see many different kinds of human activities such as canoeing and dragon boating.Apart from that, we discover many different kind of species of plants which include flowering and non-flowering plants.Human activities done at Jurong Lake Park does not contribute in water pollution. We feel that the animals which live there is endangered due to pollution. For example, plastic bags thrown into the water may be mistaken for jellyfishes which big fishes eat. They might choke when they eat the plastic bag. Therefore, the number of pollution should be decreased in Singapore.
Jurong Lake is a 70ha freshwater lake and reservoir located in the western region of Singapore formed with the damming of Sungei Jurong further downstream. The lake serves as a reservoir contributing to the water supply of the country. It lies next to the Lakeside MRT Station, which derived its name from this geographical feature. The lake is surrounded by parkland, which serves as a recreational ground for nearby residents in Jurong Lake and Jurong West New Towns.
