The Jurong redevelopment plan that the Government planned will pollute the water at Jurong Lake park, causing the organisms in the pond to die due to the lack of oxygen. The fishes will also die due to the poor quality of the pond water and they will mistake floating objects as food and choke to death. The floating objects at the Jurong Lake Park will cause fully-submerged plants to die due to the lack of sunlight and the plants will not be able to photosynthesis.
